I am most grateful that through my study of Christian Science I have come to know man's unity with God, who is our Father-Mother and the only creator. This knowledge has given me an expansive sense of the one infinite family of God's ideas, in which there is no mortal creator, no clannishness, no enemy, for the one Mind is the universal intelligence.

This one Mind, governing all, was beautifully proved to me at a time when it appeared that there were several minds which would make a lawsuit inevitable. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and we steadfastly held to the one Mind as the only intelligence. The following morning a meeting was called, and a harmonious solution to the whole problem was agreed upon by everyone concerned.

I was healed of a boil on my face by holding firmly to the truth that God's creation expresses only true qualities from God. Jesus said (Matt. 15:11), "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man." I knew no inharmony could even seem to attach itself to my real selfhood, for there is nothing outside of infinity. As Mrs. Eddy records in "Unity of Good" (p. 21): "The Lord is God. With Him is no consciousness of evil, because there is nothing beside Him or outside of Him." I shall never cease to be grateful for the love expressed to me by the practitioner who was helping me at that time.
