RADIO PROGRAM No. 177 - Goiter Healed by Prayer

Speaker: "The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword." These words from Hebrews have a very practical meaning. When understood in their spiritual significance, they can bring healing of physical problems and harmonious adjustment of human affairs. This power of God was clearly demonstrated for our guest in the healing of a goiter.

We'd like you to hear about this from the person who actually experienced the healing, Mrs. Viva L. Besse, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Besse: Quite a number of years ago when we lived in Kansas City, I had a serious goiter. Our friends knew we were Christian Scientists, and they asked me what we were doing about it. Of course, we had been treating the problem through prayer to the best of our understanding. Then one day I was in town with my husband, and we met a boyhood friend of his. He was a doctor and didn't know that we were Christian Scientists. He said to my husband, "What are you doing about this goiter of your wife's?"
