"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases" (Ps. 103: 2, 3). With the Psalmist I thank God with all my heart for His mercy.

I heard of Christian Science for the first time in 1923. Previous to this time I had been sorely tried, and I was so discouraged that I longed to die. I began to seek earnestly for the truth concerning God. Although I had attended churches of different denominations, I had been unable to find the spiritual comfort I was seeking.

About this time a dear relative who is a Christian Scientist visited me. She told me a great deal about Christian Science and made me a present of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. While I was reading this book, I realized that I had found a wonderful religion. As I continued to study the book carefully, Truth dawned on my consciousness. I had found that for which I had been seeking so long. I saw that death would not deliver me from tribulation and that now is the time to gain a higher and better way of thinking.
