STEADFASTNESS IN THE TRUTH

Steadfastness in the truth brings rich reward. It routs discouragement, dispels fear, and plants our feet in the right path.

In the face of lack of home, lack of friends, lack of family and support, Mary Baker Eddy remained steadfast in the truth, adhering to Principle, which unfolded to her as God and which she reveals in Christian Science. All mankind has been blessed by her steadfastness in the truth and by her obedience to the Christ-idea.

The study of Christian Science develops spiritual understanding, which furnishes the basis for steadfastness. This Science brings to light man's status as the child of God and shows us how to claim the Father's unfailing care and protection of His children by lifting thought above material sense testimony to the divine fact of God's all-presence and all-power.
