Seeing that this is the twenty-sixth year since Christian Science was presented to me, I think it is high time that I express my gratitude for the wonderful way of Life which it revealed to me. I have had many demonstrations of the power of Truth in destroying error during that time.

Christian Science came into my life when I was a young girl and was suffering from a goiter. The thought of an operation and of being scarred for life terrified me, and so I turned to this healing truth with a very receptive mind and avidly read the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, for three weeks. During that time all evidence of the goiter disappeared completely and permanently, and it was never again mentioned by my family. In the intervening years I have been soloist in several branch churches.
