From a humble, grateful heart I...
From a humble, grateful heart I should like to express, in some measure, my deep appreciation of Christian Science and the blessings it has brought into my life.
When our youngest son was about eighteen, he bought a motorcycle. My fear was great concerning his safety, but each time the suggestion of fear came I realized that our son, as actually a child of God, had protection and complete safety. One day as he was riding the motorcycle about fifty miles an hour it went out of control and crashed through brush and small trees, throwing him to the ground. Some people ran to him, expecting the worst, but beyond being stunned and somewhat bruised, he was all right and was able to get up and ride home.
When our son told me about this experience, I felt as though I were standing on holy ground. I never again had any fear of the motorcycle. It was repaired, and our son rode it safely for about a year after that.
