Signs of the Times
An item from the
Tunbridge Wells Advertiser
Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England
Words often heard or spoken, are "How quickly the year has gone." ... It seems that no sooner have we passer! one than we begin to think of the next season that marks the passing of time. We look forward to Christmas with all its joy and happiness and then are plunged into the New Year.
We are so engrossed in our activities that we fail to realize how very quickly time goes. We are kept going at a pace that is fast and exacting; so much so that we often fail to allow ourselves the necessary time for reflection and meditation.
