HUMAN FOOTSTEPS ARE INDISPENSABLE
For centuries mankind has been experiencing the evil effects of the belief accepted by many that the human race is descended from two ancestors, named Adam and Eve; that men have inherited material bodies and individual minds; and that all pass through the experience of human birth, growth, maturity, decline, death, and dissolution.
Christ Jesus, the Founder of Christianity, rejected this false testimony of man's origin and existence. He declared that God is the Father of all; that He is Spirit; and that His creation is spiritual, not material. He said that Spirit alone gives life and that the flesh —matter, materiality—"profiteth nothing" (John 6:63).
On the basis of these and other Biblical statements and the revelation which came to her directly from God. Mary Baker Eddy presented the truths of Christian Science in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
