I earnestly wish to give my testimony to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. For the thousands of testimonies that I have read over the years in the Christian Science periodicals, I am deeply grateful. With tears of gratitude have I thanked the Father for many of these testimonies.

As a little girl I greatly loved the Bible stories, and I wanted to be just like Jesus and do only good. As time went on I could not really understand the Bible. I began to ask questions, but I did not receive satisfactory answers from those whose counsel I sought. After investigating many religions, I gave up all thought of any church.

I went to another country, where I studied psychology, Darwinism, rationalism, and several other teachings. Eventually I returned to my own country in poor health and with a very great fear. I was afraid to believe there was no God, and yet it was to this conclusion that all the teachings which I investigated were leading me.
