HOME AND THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE READING ROOM

The thought of home is dear to everyone. Whether home is a single room or a mansion containing many rooms, it should represent security, a place to which one can retire front the busy walks of life and find peace, satisfaction, harmony, and joy.

The writer well remembers many precious hours given to the study of the Scriptures on the subject of home at a time when an adjustment of circumstances was pending in her experience. This study proved invaluable not only to herself but to many others.

At another time when her home seemed somewhat cramped, she realized that six extra rooms were available to her in the six nicely appointed Christian Science Reading; Rooms, maintained by the various Christian Science churches in her city. The use of these rooms was very helpful to her in bringing her a sense of release from a limited or cramped sense of home. As she shared her thought with others, healing and expansiveness came to them also when they made greater use of the Reading Rooms.
