Ever since I first came to this country from my native China many years ago, I have been interested in American law. I knew the philosophy behind Chinese law. I was anxious to see the philosophy behind the great democracy of America.

I learned that the foundations of American law are deeply religious. No one could ever take religion more seriously and earnestly than the Puritans and their compatriots who founded this nation.
