For all the good that has come to our family through Christian Science, we are sincerely grateful. A friend recommended that we might enjoy reading the Lesson-Sermons from the Christian Science Quarterly. We procured a Bible, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and a Quarterly and began reading. The selections were connected in thought, reasonable, and logical.

At once we recognized that we had found the truth, and we have continued to read daily. There began to be evidenced more harmony and better health. The last time the doctor was called to our house, he told me that I had chronic tonsillitis and would continue to manifest it every spring and fall, but I never had it again. It disappeared as darkness before the sunshine. In our textbook, Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy says (p. 162), "Christian Science brings to the body the sunlight of Truth, which invigorates and purifies."

In our family of seven children we have had many proofs that Christian Science heals. Pneumonia, appendicitis, so-called childhood diseases, and effects of accidents were overcome through our own efforts or with the help of a practitioner.
