"I WILL HELP THEE"

Today, above the clamor of nations that are seeking their place in a restless world, above the noisy turmoil of men and machines, can be heard this comforting Bible promise which lifts human thought from the fear of disease and destruction (Isa. 41:10): "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God; ... yea, I will help thee."

For centuries the Holy Bible has been a vital source of inspiration and guidance to searchers for Truth. Out of its priceless pages have come the answers to mankind's problems. Over and over the promises read: "Be not afraid," "Fear not." When men understandingly accept these promises today, they are led out of the maze of human strivings into the peace of spiritual knowing.

The Psalmist gives an answer to the quest for peace and safety when in the ninety-first Psalm he tells of a perfect hiding place. This Biblical song writer states with the conviction of one who knew, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Later in this same psalm, David tells us that in this safe abode, clad in the armor of Truth, we need not fear terror, pestilence, or destruction. He declares that no evil or plague can come near us. One seeking safety or happiness may ask, "Where is this secret place?" Christian Science, which unlocks the treasures of the Bible and brings healing to all mankind, has an answer to this question.
