It is more than twenty years since, in that extremity which is God's opportunity, I began to understand that the only law which can correctly govern human affairs is the divine law of God.
Before we came into Christian Science, my husband and I were active members of an orthodox church.
Humbly and gratefully I submit my testimony of the healing power of Christian Science and express my appreciation of all the blessings that have come to me through the study and application of this wonderful truth.
To give glory to God and to help others, I should like to testify to the blessings I have received through Christian Science.
It has been my custom for many years to read the Christian Science periodicals on the train to and from my work each day.
In 1924 I was a young wife and mother whose only thought was to gain the highest social position possible and to have fun, no matter who was affected, including my husband and children.
In coming from the Netherlands to Australia our family had such wonderful experiences in Christian Science that I cannot delay to thank God for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for her enlightened explanations of the Bible.
I have received so much help and encouragement from reading the testimonies in our periodicals that I wish to give my written testimony.
