On page 40 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy we read, "Remove error from thought, and it will not appear in effect." I have found this to be true, for as I have replaced thoughts of resentment with thoughts of gratitude, my life has become harmonious.

Having been ill for years with pernicious anemia, I decided to try a means for healing other than medical aid, but my efforts were without success. I then heard of Christian Science; so I went to see a practitioner to inquire about it. She explained the truth to me and showed me how to study daily the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. She told me that God would solve all my problems if I relied on Him.

I commenced studying then, and within one year I was healed. That was more than fifteen years ago, and since that time I have been able to solve my problems through Christian Science alone. This Science has explained the Bible to me. It was a book I had never been able to understand, but now it is full of beauty and spiritual instruction.
