LOVE'S TRANSCENDENT HOUR

If we had been in the storm-tossed boat,
Would we have cried, "We perish"?
Or would we have stood before the storm?
Knowing the truth we cherish,
Knowing the Christ is here to bless,
We learn to trust God's holy power,
And then we see the calm of heaven
Here in Love's transcendent hour.
