IN BUSINESS FOR YOURSELF
To be in business for yourself, to build a business in accord with God's law of abundance and harmony, brings rich reward. There is a joy of achievement in making your own decisions on the basis of divine Principle, with honesty, integrity, and Godlike qualities uppermost in thought.
Freedom to think and to act under Mind's guidance, freedom to work out your individual salvation, is in accordance with Paul's words (Phil. 2:12, 13): "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."
A student of Christian Science has the opportunity right at hand to be in business for himself. Right where he is, he can prove man's freedom and individuality as the child of God. "To will and to do" of God's good pleasure, to work out one's own salvation, is the student's privilege. This is the scientific way of being in business for oneself. This business is outside the limited concepts of mortal existence and is entirely free from the restrictive laws of matter and mortal mind. Yet as one works out the problem of being, the rewards are not vague, intangible promises; they are manifest in abundant harmony in daily living.
