In view of the many blessings...

In view of the many blessings and demonstrations of God's love which I have received from the study of Christian Science, one of the strangest aspects of this published testimony is that it is my first one. I became interested in Science when I was overseas with an infantry division. The complete freedom from fear which I enjoyed during this period came through my study of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. This freedom led me to realize the great influence which scientific thought can play in our daily living.

When I returned to my home I began to study Christian Science more earnestly. Through this study and with the help of a practitioner I was healed of a most serious illness. As I continued to grow in my knowledge of Science, what impressed me most about it was the fact that after each healing I was better able to face any situation in my daily experience.

After two or three years had passed, I took the necessary steps for church membership. From this move an entirely new life has unfolded to me. My blessings have included those of home, supply, and employment. My activities in a branch church have filled me with gratitude.
