For many years I have reaped benefits from the testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals. I am glad to give mine in the hope that someone may be encouraged thereby.

Christian Science was brought to my attention about thirty-seven years ago by a friend who related her healing through Science. Having spent much time with doctors and having searched with little success for the healing of various ills, I decided to investigate this religion. I borrowed Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, secured a Christian Science Quarterly, and began to study. While reading an article in The Christian Science journal relating the Biblical account of Elijah and the wind, earthquake, and fire, I was healed of extreme fear of electric storms.

Our family of five have experienced healings of abscessed teeth, jaundice, and appendicitis. Cigarette smoking has been overcome, and a young man in the family was healed of mumps in a severe stage. While absent from home he suffered from a serious gland infection. After doctors failed to cure it, he wrote home for Christian Science treatment and had an instantaneous healing.
