RADIO PROGRAM No. 168 - The Healing Message of the Lord's Prayer

Speaker: Have you ever wondered how to pray effectively? Our topic today is "The Healing Message of the Lord's Prayer," and our guest is Mrs. Winifred Follmer of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. Here she is in person to tell you about her own healing.

Mrs. Follmer: I'd been a member of the Christian Science Sunday School until I was twenty and had learned to depend entirely upon God whenever I needed help and healing. When I was twenty-one I was married, and we left on our honeymoon, but it was necessary' for me to be brought home because I became violently ill. For four days I was unconscious most of the time. I seemed unable to move.

On the fifth day our Christian Science practitioner said to me: "Let's pray the Lord's Prayer. Let's know every word of it. You say it silently while I say it audibly, and let's not just say it, but know it." So we began to pray together, and during those moments my entire body, which had been drawn out of shape, became relaxed.
