For the blessings which have...

For the blessings which have come to me and to members of my family over a period of years through the study and application of the practical truths of Christian Science, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to God, the Giver of all good. I thank Him for Christ Jesus, His Son, and for Mrs. Eddy, our gracious Leader, whose fidelity to her priceless discovery was beyond our human comprehension.

On page 558 of Science and Health our Leader makes this thought-arresting statement: "To mortal sense Science seems at first obscure, abstract, and dark; but a bright promise crowns its brow. When understood, it is Truth's prism and praise." This I found to be true when I took up the study of Christian Science in earnest. At first it was just words, a beautiful philosophy; but I felt it must be more than that, and I continued to read.

Suddenly there came the glorious realization that this Science is the truth of being, God's message to this age, and that it came through one divinely qualified to receive it and to reveal it to mankind. I saw that this revelation is for all time and that it includes all that will ever be necessary for the regeneration, healing, and salvation of all who accept and utilize its ministry.
