I am grateful to my mother for having introduced our family to Christian Science before the turn of the century. When she found this religion, she was troubled by hemorrhages of the lungs. The doctor told her to be careful to conserve her strength. The family was on constant guard to see that we relieved her of any undue physical exertion. After she began studying Christian Science I was greatly impressed that she could do housework she had not done for years, and she did it without any ill effects. She is still leading a useful life.

In the Christian Science Sunday School I learned this sentence from our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 494): "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." When discord of any nature appeared I turned to this statement, and harmony was restored. But a time came when I realized that there are no ruts on the road to the kingdom of heaven and that I must expand my thinking.

I soon learned that Christian Science is the way of Life, and once we get a glimpse of it, no other way satisfies. Speaking of the Christ, Jesus said (John 14:6), "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
