Having been a student of Christian Science for about fifty years, I wish to tell, in my written testimony, of blessings resulting from the study of this great revelation of Truth.

In my early womanhood I read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and even before finishing the first chapter I knew that this book contained the divine truth for which I longed. It was a great joy to find that there really are people in the world who not only believe the words and acts of Christ Jesus, but can prove their practical efficacy by healing themselves and others in obedience to his commands.

This healing power was soon proved to me also by the cessation of frequent bad headaches and then by the healing of minor injuries, such as cuts, burns, and bruises. These blessings were accompanied by a spiritual uplift and elation such as had never before come to me. Indeed it was the dawning of a new life for me.
