It is my desire to express gratitude for Christian Science and for our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. We have had many wonderful healings, two of which I should like to relate.

When our son was at the age of a year and a half, he developed an ear infection. A doctor was called and an examination was made. The doctor said that if the child were no better in the morning, the ear would have to be lanced. A member of the family who is a student of Christian Science asked me if I were going to call the doctor or take my stand for Christian Science. Although new in Science, I decided to call a practitioner. About fifteen minutes after I had called, the child stopped crying. He was completely healed. The doctor was never called again.

As a girl I had a severe case of asthma and was not allowed to exert myself. I was still suffering from this when Christian Science was presented to me, but as a result of studying the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly I was completely healed. I was not conscious of this healing until it was called to my attention by a member of the family.
