I feel that the time has come...

I feel that the time has come for me to express gratitude for all the good I have received through the study and application of Christian Science. As a result of my understanding of it God has been my only physician for many years.

One physical healing that stands out occurred some years ago when I fell down a flight of stairs to the basement of our home. Clinging to the thought of the impossibility of being separated from God, and realizing that "God hath made man upright" (Eccl. 7:29), I soon managed to get upstairs. I held to these thoughts and others along the same line and studied faithfully the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly. In a few days I was entirely free and in my usual place, doing my regular work.

A few years ago it seemed wise to dispose of our home. A real estate dealer was called, and through his efforts three deals nearly resulted, but each time at the last minute they all failed. Then it became clear to me that the truth must be applied. Almost at once the words from Hebrews came to me (4:12), "The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword." A feeling of complete satisfaction followed. The Word was "quick, and powerful," for within a few weeks every phase of the problem was solved. The house was sold at a very good price, all unneeded furniture was quickly disposed of, and we were led to an apartment that exactly met our needs.
