We read in the Bible (Ps. 107: 20), "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." And our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, writes in Science and Health (p. 371), "Truth is an alterative in the entire system, and can make it 'every whit whole.'" Some time ago I was called upon to prove the effectiveness of these truths.

While crossing the street on an extremely windy and rainy evening, I was struck by a car and became unconscious. Upon regaining consciousness, I saw a number of people around me, including several policemen. I declared to myself, "There are no accidents in God's universe, and man is all right."
