"Christmas Gift"
is a phrase heard and seen many times during the month of December in private and public places throughout the Christian world.
What
glorious expectancy is embraced in the beloved word "Christmas"! How the Christian world has cherished the announcement of the angel to the shepherds of old.
An
interesting aspect of the study of Christian Science lies in its use of words in their exact meaning.
To
be content implies that one has arrived at a point where he is undisturbed by a desire for what he does not have, even though his wishes have not been completely gratified.
The
shepherds brought their simple faith,The Wisemen offered goldAnd costly frankincense and myrrh;Each brought his gift of old.
It
is not surprising that in the present world atmosphere charged with tenseness and strife one might easily find little to comfort him and very much to disturb his peace.
Christian Science,
based on the truth of perfect God and perfect man, is a positive way of life.
In
Christian Science we learn that harmony is the natural state of man, made in the image of God.

sometimes hears the remark, "It isn't what you know, but whom you know that counts.

we understand the nature of the Christ, we find it manifests the beauty, excellence, and health, or holiness, of divine perfection.
