For some time after my parents...
For some time after my parents started the study of Christian Science I was only mildly interested. Not realizing what Jesus meant when he said (Matt. 6:24), "Ye cannot serve God and mammon," I tried to be a sophisticated man of the world and receive healings, too.
Following an injury in which I received a fractured skull, I was told by doctors that I had epilepsy. This was a turning point in my life, because I suddenly realized that an earnest study of Christian Science was what I needed and what I wanted.
