"Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most high" (Ps. 50:14). I feel sure I would not be here today were it not for Christian Science, which is the greatest gift of God to mankind. There have been many beautiful physical healings manifested in our home; some with the help of a practitioner, and others through our own prayerful study of the Bible, together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

After a doctor had told the family that my mother was dying with pneumonia and that there was nothing more to be done, she was healed through the untiring prayers of a Christian Science practitioner. When a small boy, my brother suffered from a condition which developed into the advanced stages of tuberculosis. Leading child specialists in a large city gave him only a short time to live. Through the help of a practitioner the boy was completely healed in a short time.

After this same boy grew up and married, he and his wife had a baby girl. When the baby was only a few hours old, the physician told the father that the child's head was badly out of shape and that the brain had been affected in such a way that the child would never be mentally normal. The father immediately called a Christian Science practitioner, who took up the work, and I am very grateful to say the child was quickly healed. She is now eleven years old and is unusually intelligent and alert in every way.
