Over thirty years ago the testimony of my first healing through Christian Science was published in our periodicals. This is a further expression of gratitude for Love's guidance, discipline, and protection.

I can truthfully say that I thank my heavenly Father for the experiences I have had in my journey from sense to Soul, for they have meant spiritual growth in Christian Science. Sometimes the healings have been slow even with a practitioner's help, and many lessons have had to be learned. I have been healed of pneumonia, grippe, the effects of accident, and other ailments. Also I have had wonderful protection on many trips across the country.

When confronted with a painful attack of rheumatism in my leg, I worked to know that man is spiritual, perfect, upright, and free. I declared that matter can have no pain or swelling, because it has no intelligence or power, since God is all-power. The trouble lessened but did not yield entirely until I asked for help from a practitioner. Then it was overcome in a short time.
