It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I offer this testimony. Christian Science has been my guide for over eighteen years. I have learned that God is my Life. The words from the Scriptures (Acts 17:28), "In him we live, and move, and have our being,"have taken on great meaning for me.

I have experienced many healings, for which I am grateful, but the one for which I am most grateful was that of resentment when my car was stolen one evening. At first I was filled with anxiety and dismay, as well as the feeling that I was always having some problem to meet. I immediately asked for help from a practitioner, and then I reasoned thus: "If God is everywhere, His ideas are not somewhere in localized matter. They are in Mind and under Mind's guidance and care." I was led to see that there is actually no such thing as a thief and therefore no cause to resent something that had never in reality occurred. When I saw this I could feel only love for the one who had taken my car.

All the time this unfoldment was going on in my consciousness, I had to meet the suggestion that the insurance company would cover the loss if the car could not be found. When I refuted all suggestions that there had ever been a loss, I received word that the car had been found and was unharmed. This occurred one week after the car had been stolen. The insurance company had a thorough check made of it to see that no damage had been done, and it was returned to me in as good condition as when it was taken.
