In a democracy public opinion tends to rule. However, public opinion can rise no higher than the beliefs and ideals of its citizens. Because of this fact, no nation can be more intelligent, more just, or more righteous than are its great masses of citizens. What better guide for our ideals could we find than those inspired words of Christian citizenship written in the thirteenth chapter of Romans, verses seven to ten inclusive.

How much better our country would be if we would all apply these teachings to our lives.
