It has been my privilege to be a student of Christian Science for almost forty years. This religion has brought me the greatest happiness I have ever experienced. How wonderful it is to know that we have the remedy for every discordant condition.

In getting into my son's automobile with my daughter-in-law and grandson, I placed my hand at the top of the door and leaned forward for my grandson to get into the back seat. He did not notice my hand in the door and closed it. The pain was intense. I quietly asked him to open the door and immediately started knowing the truth, realizing that the true sense of body, or spiritual identity, had never been in an accident. The pain ceased at once, and no swelling resulted. For this healing I am very grateful, for in a measure it proved the words of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy (Science and Health, p. 475), "Man is not matter; he is not made up of brain, blood, bones, and other material elements."

When in need of funds to make an improvement in my home, I held fast to this statement by our Leader (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 307): "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for to-morrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment." The needed funds were provided in a way that had not previously occurred to me, and the improvement was made.
