THE FATHER'S OWN
I have
no need God does not know
And has not satisfied;
Mine is the fullness of all good;
Could I ask more beside?
No hate can cloud the sun from me,
No wind of chance blow wild;
God's law does order all things well
For His beloved child.
I walk in no unguarded way,
For Love goes where I go,
And though deep night descend on me,
Love's constant light I know.
