I wish to express gratitude for Christian Science and for all the good that it has unfolded to me and my family. We have had many blessings. One in particular stands out as a proof of the healing efficacy of Christian Science.

I was required to take a physical examination given by the Army. This examination disclosed symptoms of diabetes. As a student of Christian Science, I at once claimed the truth concerning myself. The medical authorities decided to run a more comprehensive examination over a three-day period. On the third day the morning examination showed the unfavorable symptoms, as before

I immediately telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner, who requested that I see him during my noon hour. When I did so, he declared the truth that God's idea is not physical and cannot be subject to so-called physical, mortal mind laws. Pointing out that God is the only power and that this fact precludes any harmful power, he urged me to accept the divine fact that, as the expression of perfect Mind, I could not express less than Mind's glorious perfection, joy, and completeness. He brought out the truth that God, Spirit, is active and does not manifest Himself in wrong action, diseased action, overaction, or lack of action, but constantly expresses Himself in perfect action, the only action man can express.
