Christian Science has brought me abundant health, peace, and joy. As a child I was ill much of the time. When I began the study of Christian Science, more than seven years ago, I knew immediately that it was the truth, and I was healed of heart trouble without any specific work being done for the condition. Frequent attacks of acute indigestion ceased also as fear was replaced by confidence in God's presence and goodness.

Chronic constipation had persisted since childhood and had not been helped by treatment at a well-known clinic. It was completely overcome by my taking a firm stand against it and placing full reliance on God. Of great help was the following statement from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 283): "Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action."

I am grateful for release from the severe colds and sore throat from which I suffered at frequent intervals for many years. I noticed that the attacks were often connected with worry, resentment, or other un-Godlike thinking. One cold was healed instantaneously when my thought was cleared of resentment regarding an unjust situation.
