Signs of the Times
From The Spotlight Minneapolis, Minnesota
Like the prophet of old who, amidst the moral decay and political corruption of his people, inquired of the watchman: "What of the night?" we, too, out of the darkness of our own time raise the question: "What of the future?"
If we have ears to hear, we, too, may catch these reassuring words, not of anyone who at best can only see as through a glass darkly, but from Him who is the Light: The day cometh! ... "Now are ye light in the Lord." From this glorious truth follows the call: "Walk as children of light." Thus each one must be the answer to the question: "What of the night?" and be by his daily influence the harbinger of the new day.
