It is with great appreciation of the many fine testimonies which have helped me that this testimony is given. One day while all alone in my office I found myself suddenly falling across my desk and losing consciousness. I could not move even to use the telephone on my desk to call a practitioner.

On page 581 of Science and Health Mrs. Eddy defines "angels" as "God's thoughts passing to man." Although only partly conscious, I distinctly heard the angel command to resist evil. When I again became fully conscious I found myself vehemently declaring parts of "the scientific statement of being" (ibid., p. 468) and asserting my dominion over the condition. Through the persistent work of a practitioner much fear was eliminated from my thought, and extreme weakness was overcome. The healing was complete and has been permanent.

I was beautifully sustained when three members of my immediate family suddenly passed on within a short time of each other. This was a time for me to rely radically on the truth I had learned through my study of Christian Science. When I realized the continuity of the unchanging love of God for His Children, who are eternally under His loving care, the healing came.
