CHRISTIAN SCIENCE AND SCHOOL EXAMINATIONS
[Of Special Interest to Children]
God is Love, and Love is everywhere. This is what Geraldine learned the very first time that she went to the Christian Science Sunday School.
As Geraldine grew older, Christian Science protected and helped her in many ways. Before she sat for her scholarship examinations when she was eleven, she and her Sunday School teacher talked of God, who is Mind, all-knowing intelligence, and of man, His perfect idea. Geraldine knew that because she was really God's perfect child, she reflected His intelligence. She won her scholarship and started at her new school.
At first she was very happy with her many new friends, but later she began to find the lessons difficult. Some subjects worried her a great deal, and she received poor marks in them. Geraldine forgot that she was really God's intelligent child and allowed error to speak to her until she was afraid of tests and examination times.
