It is with great joy that I give my testimony of gratitude for the ever-present Christ, Truth, revealed for all mankind through Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy.

When I was born, medical science laid down the law that because of a hip dislocation I would never walk. My mother turned to Christian Science, and the hip condition was subsequently overcome. Not only did I walk, but I later enjoyed dancing and playing tennis, as well as giving tennis lessons.

I attended a Christian Science Sunday School from the age of three. The loving attention I received there helped me to overcome an erroneous sense of family; and I realized that the real family consists only of God's spiritual ideas, each expressing love and spiritual understanding. It is a rich privilege to prove daily that we can love all mankind, as well as our immediate family. In my last year of high school I was protected from many temptations through the firm foundation I had gained from the teaching of Christian Science by my Sunday School teachers.
