A new series of fifteen-minute radio programs on Christian Science is being introduced by The Mother Church beginning with broadcasts the week end of September 18 to 20. Each program features a firsthand narrative in which a Christian Scientist tells how he was healed through an understanding of prayer as taught in Christian Science. Following the account of healing, a qualified speaker explains the metaphysical basis of the healing and tells how the listener can learn to apply the prayer of spiritual understanding to his own daily problems. Entitled "How Christian Science Heals," the series is being heard on some six hundred radio stations throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia, and at points in Latin America, Africa, Europe, and New Zealand. It replaces the transcribed series "The Healing Ministry of Christian Science."

The musical portion of the programs currently being heard presents Frederick Jagel, soloist of The Mother Church, with Ruth Barrett Phelps at the organ in the Extension of The Mother Church. The speaker is Harry C. Browne, a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, and former President of The Mother Church. The programs are written and produced under the supervision of the Manager of Committees on Publication with the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors.
