GOD'S FORMATIONS ARE PERFECT

The desire of the student of Christian Science to gain that spiritual understanding which enables him to know more of God and of man's oneness with all that is good, is true prayer, which is always answered. With this spiritual understanding he feels himself equipped to help his brother men and to prove that Christian Science heals the sick, comforts the sorrowing, and brings to light the presence of Mind and its perfect formations.

The basis for all true growth and living is found in the acceptance of the truth revealed in the Bible and by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and her other writings. In the first chapter of Genesis we read (verse 27), "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." It is very clear that if we are to understand our true selfhood as God's formation we must, of necessity, learn to know God—His nature, substance, presence, and power.

It is interesting and helpful to study the references in the Concordances to Mrs. Eddy's writings to such words as form, formation, formed, and then to determine the pattern towards which we must work if we are to prove our oneness with all that is good.
