A COMPLETE REVELATION

As one progresses in the study of Christian Science it becomes apparent to him that the discovery of this Science by Mary Baker Eddy came through divine revelation. That which is conceived humanly is incomplete and subject to changing opinions, but revelation, which comes forth from divine Love, is complete and final.

The history of materia medica shows that material methods for healing the sick are constantly changing, but the method of healing which was used by our great Master has not changed, for it came to him from God. In explanation of his works he said (John 14:10), "The Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."

Mrs. Eddy discovered and has revealed Jesus' method of healing through prayer, without material means or methods. Because of the way the complete revelation unfolded to her, and because she proved what was revealed through healing all manner of sickness, Mrs. Eddy knew that what she wrote down in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," was God-inspired.
