In gratitude to God for Christian Science I give this testimony. As I stepped from the outside entrance of a second-floor apartment onto the porch to descend the stairs, the porch and stairs collapsed, and I fell with them to the ground. Although I tried to rise above the sense testimony and to realize that the body had no more intelligence than the watch I wore, which was intact, I was unable to move. The breastbone, back, hip, shoulder blade, and ankle appeared to be broken. There was something wrong with the stomach, and a cut on the scalp caused a severe headache.

For two days my husband and I tried to work out the problem ourselves. However, it was not until my husband called for the help of a practitioner that I was able to express activity and to realize dominion over pain. Through the law of divine Principle complete inactivity gave way at once to the ability to turn my head and to move my hands and feet.
