I was healed in Christian Science and desire to share my experiences with others that they too may take heart. Because of a fibroid tumor, I was ill and unhappy. I tried to find relief through medical treatment, but to no avail. Turning in desperation to God, I prayed to know His will for me.

No Bible was in our home, and I knew that I must have some kind of book concerning God. I went to town trusting God to lead me. Soon I found myself in a Christian Science Reading Room, where I purchased Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy and began reading it carefully and reverently. After that first day of reading I discarded my glasses.
