I wish to place on record my very deep gratitude for Christian Science. It has been my only physician for over twenty-five years.

At the age of twenty-one I was a very sick, depressed, and unhappy person, calling on the doctor regularly for a condition which he predicted would lead to tuberculosis and from which he gave me very little hope of recovery. At this stage Christian Science was presented to me, and the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was purchased for me by the man who is now my husband. I commenced attending church services regularly with him, and I studied the textbook. In less than six months I was completely healed. Since then I have not had a day's illness.

Our daughter was born very harmoniously without the help of a doctor. She attended the Christian Science Sunday School until she was twenty, and she has enjoyed splendid health throughout the years, except for two minor ailments, which were overcome in a few days with the loving help of a practitioner. I am grateful for all the truths she learned at Sunday School, for they have given her a knowledge of the rock of Truth on which to build her life.
