I am very grateful for the wonderful healings I have experienced through Christian Science and for the understanding of God's ever-present help in time of need. After I had suffered a number of years from stomach ulcers, which medical aid had failed to cure, in desperation I turned to Christian Science.

The condition did not immediately submit to the healing power of this Science because my thought was not ready to accept its teachings. I regularly attended church and studied conscientiously. Also I had the help of several very loving and understanding practitioners at different times. Each practitioner added to my understanding and brought me temporary relief, but my full freedom was not demonstrated until a practitioner showed me how to understand the truth that man is already complete. When the healing came it was instantaneous: every vestige of the trouble completely disappeared overnight. From this experience I learned that healing can be instantaneous and occurs the moment we are ready to accept the truth of being. I have never had a return of the stomach ulcers, and I now eat whatever I wish with complete freedom.

Although my progress in Christian Science has not come without much effort, I realize that great efforts provide full rewards, and my constant study has brought happiness and freedom, for which I am very grateful. I have learned that this Science is just as efficacious in the business world as it is in healing sin and sickness. Problems of daily life which appeared insoluble have been solved correctly and justly through application of the truth.
