What a blessed joy it is to witness...

What a blessed joy it is to witness the constant love and alertness expressed by a mother whose chief desire since beginning the study of Christian Science has been to further its growth. In the environment of this love and keen appreciation of Christian Science, with Sunday School attendance and church membership stressed as both a duty and a joy, my brothers, sister, and I have had a completely happy childhood.

And how grateful we are that our father, who is not a student of Christian Science, let us attend the Christian Science Sunday School and lovingly called a practitioner whenever we needed help. Christian Science, in its preventive capacity, has kept us in excellent health, our few minor diseases having been quickly healed.

At different times, including once when abroad, I enrolled for a year of academic study when the money at hand was only enough for the registration fee. My needs were always met in abundance. By constantly reminding myself to seek God's will rather than my own I experienced the freedom that comes from complete reliance on Truth.
