So many blessings have come into my experience through the study and application of Christian Science that I feel they should have been acknowledged through a written testimony long ago.

While I was teaching school, a student of Christian Science loaned me the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. At that time I was suffering from a nervous condition which deprived me of peace day and night. After I had begun to read the textbook a great sense of burden was lifted, peaceful sleep returned at night, and the nervous condition disappeared. Constipation, which had been a problem for some years, was completely healed through Christian Science treatment. Another healing was that of hay fever, which was so severe that at one time it was necessary to leave the country and go back to the city. These healings took place years ago and have been permanent.

Later there came the necessity of finding the right employment, and that problem was worked out most harmoniously in Christian Science. During my period of employment the great blessing of class instruction came to me. Afterward, during a leave of absence from my social work and teaching, the opportunity came to visit branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, in six different countries. This enlarged my concept of the universal activity of the Christian Science movement and made me even more grateful for The Mother Church and its branches throughout the world.
