LETTERS TO THE PRESS FROM CHRISTIAN SCIENCE COMMITTEES ON PUBLICATION

A recent item in your paper stated that a clergyman ... had announced that he would speak on "Christian Science versus the Bible." It is certainly a clergyman's privilege to choose his subject, but the very choice of the above-mentioned subject indicates a complete misunderstanding of Christian Science.

For your readers who are not acquainted with the teachings of Christian Science and have not read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I should like to state that Christian Science is based entirely on the Bible and is in absolute harmony with the spirit of its teachings as found in statements such as the following:
